Frequently Asked Questions — Spanish Courses in Cadiz
How many students are in a Spanish class in Cádiz?
Maximum 10 students per class. Cádiz is one of Europe's most extraordinary cities — the oldest continuously inhabited city in Western Europe, founded over 3,000 years ago, built on a narrow peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic on three sides. The school is located in the city centre, close to the beach.
When can I start a Spanish course in Cádiz?
Every Monday, year-round. Spring (March–June) is the most popular season — warm enough to enjoy the beaches, lively with the famous Cádiz carnival energy, and at its most authentically local before summer tourism peaks.
What accommodation is available in Cádiz?
Homestay with local families and student apartments in the city centre. Because Cádiz is built on a peninsula, the entire city is compact and walkable — you are never more than 15 minutes from the beach, the school, or the old town.
What makes Cádiz different from other Spanish course destinations?
Cádiz is genuinely unlike anywhere else in Spain — or Europe. The light, the sea air, the ancient streets, the incredibly warm and witty local people (gaditanos are famous throughout Spain for their humour and friendliness) and the sense of history around every corner make it a destination that students fall in love with and return to. It is less well-known than Granada or Barcelona, which means you get a more authentic, less touristy experience. Our students who choose Cádiz almost always say it was the best decision they made. Plus, if you like surfing, this is absolutely the best destination in Spain for surf!
Is Cádiz suitable for a short stay of just one or two weeks?
Cádiz is actually one of our top recommendations for short stays specifically. The city is small enough to feel at home within days, the school atmosphere is warm and personal, and the combination of beach, history and local culture means you experience an enormous amount in a short time. Many students who come for one week end up booking again for the following year.
