Frequently Asked Questions — Spanish Courses in Ibiza
How many students are in a Spanish class in Ibiza?
Maximum 10 students per class. Learning Spanish in Ibiza is one of our most unexpected but rewarding experiences — behind the international party reputation lies a genuinely beautiful island with a rich Spanish and traditional culture, warm local people, and stunning natural landscapes.
When can I start a Spanish course in Ibiza?
Every Monday, from spring through autumn (typically March–October). Ibiza is a seasonal destination and the school schedule reflects this. Summer courses (June–August) fill quickly — book early if this is your preferred period. Private lessons during the winter months.
What accommodation is available in Ibiza?
Homestay with local families and student apartments on the island. Away from the resort areas, Ibiza is a genuinely Spanish island with traditional villages, local markets and a warm community atmosphere — and this is the Ibiza your host family will show you.
Is Ibiza really a serious place to learn Spanish or is it just about the nightlife?
This is the question almost every Ibiza student asks before booking — and the answer surprises most people. The local Ibiza beyond the clubs and resorts is deeply Spanish, traditional and beautiful. Your mornings are in a focused classroom with a native teacher. What you do with your afternoons and evenings, is entirely your choice. Many students are pleasantly shocked by how immersive and genuinely Spanish the experience is. That said, if you do want to experience the famous Ibiza nightlife alongside your course, it is obviously there.
What is there to do in Ibiza beyond the famous clubs?
Ibiza Town (Dalt Vila) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site — a stunning walled city with extraordinary views. The north of the island is almost entirely unspoiled, with traditional villages like Santa Gertrudis and Sant Joan, weekly hippie markets, and some of the most beautiful coves and beaches in the Mediterranean. Formentera is a 30-minute ferry ride away. Students who explore beyond the resort areas consistently discover an island they had completely misjudged.
