Reviews Spanish Schools
This is what our students say about their Spanish courses in Spain
Spanish School Alicante
I absolutely loved living and studying Spanish in Alicante. All the teachers that I had were absolutely amazing! Apart from giving great lessons they also helped me with some out of school issues and questions (thank you!!!) I chose 25h/week and wouldn't recommend going below that, as 20h/week will only get you a lot of Spanish grammar and its the conversation class that, in my opinion, is the best! Go to the beach, travel around: Murcia, Altea, Guadalest, Villa Joyosa, Playa de San Juan - everything is so close and you can do a half day trip. Talk to the locals, google intercambio bars Alicante if the school is not enough- make the best of your time there! Good luck!

Spanish School Alicante
I really liked the family that I was living with - they were very nice and friendly. I generally liked the school in Alicante and the Spanish classes. Some of the teachers were better than others, but overall it was quite good.

Spanish School Barcelona
In September 2017 I had the opportunity to take Spanish classes in Barcelona. I had classes for two weeks at the B1 level and it was a positive experience for a number of reasons.
On the first day everyone learned rule number one: we had to speak a lot and we had to speak in Spanish. My classmates and I came from all over: Germany, Austria, France, Brazil, Australia and Canada. Because we came from all over, to be able to communicate, we spoke strictly in Spanish. In my opinion, there is no more effective way to learn and improve upon your Spanish.
We did not need much time at all to become friends. In addition to learning from our teachers at the Spanish school in Barcelona, we learned from our classmates because of their different experiences in life and their different points of view. In class, we talked about everything under the sun and of course we talked about grammar too. The style of teaching, the energy and good humor of our teachers made class time fly by. My only regret was that I could not extend my Spanish program in Barcelona for another two weeks because I did not have enough time.

Spanish School Barcelona
I studied Spanish in Barcelona for 10 weeks and finished just before Christmas 2020. The year of the pandemic.
Firstly, the building is beautiful, there's a terrace at the front and a roof terrace too for those after class cervezas / nibbles with your international classmates.
The teachers are wonderful and from a mixture of places, which is a great advantage because you get to know the different regional accents. I enrolled into the Intensive 20 course, which was from either 9.00 - 13.00 or 9.30 - 13.30. Perfect times as you still have the rest of your day to do whatever you like.
The Spanish classes in Barcelona consisted of grammar, conversation, games, audio and the occasional sing along which was always a lot of fun. The teachers are friendly and fun, the environment is welcoming and the location is perfect too. There really is nothing bad to say about this school. Throughout the ever-changing restrictions of the pandemic, we were all kept well informed and felt safe. After class activities were not possible for most of my time there but alternatives were provided.
I really loved my time in Barcelona and my Spanish lesson and I am looking forward to returning in the coming months.

Spanish School Barcelona
I spent four months in total at the Spanish School in Barcelona divided into two periods. I have had several of the teachers in class, and they are all great. I learned a lot and I like the method used when combining grammar, listening and speaking.
I can highly recommend the school to others. And a plus is that the school is located in a nice neighborhood in Barcelona.

Spanish School Cadiz
I wanted to take a Spanish course in Spain and Cádiz was the perfect choice, 300 days of sun a year, surrounded by the sea and kilometers of beautiful sandy beaches, not to mention its amazing history.
The Spanish school in Cadiz is the perfect size and all the staff are very friendly and make you feel comfortable right from the start. I enjoyed the small classes and activities that allowed us to see all the parts of the city and learn more about the culture. My Spanish improved a great deal during the summer and I look forward to coming back next year for Carnival in February... Hasta pronto Cádiz!

Spanish School Denia
Brilliant school in the heart of Denia! I always wanted to learn Spanish. It's a language that interested me since I was a child. So I came with the expectation to catch a bit of Spanish in Denia. At the end, after a few weeks of school, I had an idea how to talk and felt great progress. The school offers small groups with only 2-6 students and individualized help in all classes. I totally can recommend the Spanish school in Denia to anyone who is interested to learn Spanish and wants to spend a fantastic time in a good place! Thanks for the unforgettable time!

Spanish School Granada
Very friendly. All staff are approachable. When the class I had joined was too difficult, they immediately found me an individual tutor.

Spanish School Ibiza
The staff members at the Spanish school in Ibiza were very friendly and helped solve problems quickly. I felt very welcome! The Spanish lessons were really amazing – I had individual lessons. The teacher prepared my classes so well with the things I needed to know and I asked her for specifics for my job. Absolutely well prepared for my subject! I was very surprised how she prepared and helped me!

Spanish School Madrid
Outstanding methodology and amazing teachers. The ultimate experience. I loved my stay in Spain! I stayed 2 weeks in Barcelona, 4 in Malaga and 3 in Madrid . I had to come back home and study last month online! I really recommend this Spanish school in Madrid. I will go back next year!

Spanish School Malaga
I had an amazing experience at the Spanish school in Malaga! The teachers are professional, friendly and they explain the concepts really well. When you don’t get it the first time they will help you and explain it differently until you get it with lots of examples. I stayed in the school accommodation in the city center. I just had an awesome experience and I would recommend you to go of course because your Spanish will improve rapidly and meeting people all over the world makes it really interesting as well. Besides, Malaga is a beautiful city with so many things to do, you will never get bored!

Spanish School Palma de Mallorca
The location of the Spanish school at Palma de Mallorca is excellent, in the middle of the old town in a historical building. Classes are small, teachers are very nice, open and really professional.

Spanish School Palma de Mallorca
I choose the Spanish School in Palma de Mallorca for 2 reasons: an online rating of 5 stars and it is in the heart of the historic old town. I decided to learn Spanish for 2 weeks and truly had the best experience of my life. The school is super with great structure, teachers, and staff. The lessons are outlined well to really walk you through all you need to know. Professor Carmen is a superb teacher and really attentive to your individual needs to grow and learn. The school matched me with a host family to stay. This added to my full experience, which I recommend. I can’t wait to come back and learn again.

I learned Spanish for two weeks in Salamanca. I met a lot of amazing people, but the special one was María - my teacher. Maria is an amazing teacher, very competent, kind with extraordinary energy and passion. She is the best one!!

Spanish School Salamanca
I was preparing for the B2 DELE exam and was at the Spanish school in Salamanca for two weeks. Anyone wanting to learn Spanish - this is the place to go.
The teachers were amazing, encouraging and helpful. I had a one-on-one class with Susanna. She gave me confidence to do the Spanish Test and was able to detect the things in Spanish I needed to be aware of. Everyone here really wants you to achieve your goal.

Spanish School San Sebastian
Phenomenal! Very professional Spanish teachers, many activities to do in the afternoon and evenings including sports, dance classes, excursions around San Sebastian, cultural exchanges, concerts and fun bars. I had some fantastic days while learning Spanish in San Sebastian.

Spanish School San Sebastian
Outstanding Spanish school in San Sebastian with excellent teachers. The instructors and administrators are very responsive to the students’ needs. You will learn a lot and you will learn quickly under their guidance. Cannot say enough positive things about my experience with them...They taught me to speak in Spanish! I would like to thank Esther Marcos Santos - a profesora of the upmost quality. Truly born to teach, made classes fun, interesting and challenging, pushed us all to be better speakers and created an environment where we wanted to do the work necessary to learn Spanish. One of the best teachers of any kind I have experienced in my 60 years of learning...

Spanish School San Sebastian
This is an excellent Spanish language school in San Sebastian. I have studied both in the Spanish school and online for two years and my Spanish has improved greatly thanks to the efforts and patience of the Spanish teachers. I have found the experience to be friendly, encouraging and well structured and along with learning a lot of grammar and vocabulary my confidence in speaking Spanish in everyday life has improved enormously.
I thoroughly recommend the Spanish school in San Sebastian.

Spanish School Santiago de Compostela
The Spanish school in Santiago de Compostela has very useful and motivating Spanish courses, competent, informal and friendly teachers, managerial staff and secretarial staff. During the period of my stay, especially on the weekends, the school offers guided tours of Santiago de Compostela, La Coruña, along the coast, and organizes trekking routes and other interesting activities like exploring the roofs of the cathedral. July is a wonderful month to study Spanish in Santiago de Compostela.

Spanish School Santiago de Compostela
I've just spent 3 weeks learning Spanish here at the Spanish school in Santiago de Compostela and it was great! I learned so much. The teachers and staff were brilliant and I can highly recommend the school to anyone who wants to learn Spanish in Spain.
Yvonne
Spanish School Santiago de Compostela
I was only at the Spanish school in Santiago de Compostela for one week, in the intermediate Spanish class. The instructor was excellent, both in her explanations of grammar and in her ability to keep conversations going in Spanish, especially since we were only 2 students in the class. The activities were excellent. Location is great. I did not use the housing.

Spanish School Sevilla
Just spent the most wonderful week learning Spanish in Sevilla. Very high quality of teaching, varied classes and small groups where everyone can be helped individually. The staff members are very competent and welcoming. The school is in a charming building in a stylish area in the center of the old town. I will definitely return to study Spanish in Sevilla. Hasta luego!

Spanish School Sevilla
I can't speak highly enough of my experience taking Spanish lessons in Sevilla. I completed 3 months / 12 weeks and learned enough Spanish to keep a conversation going with anyone (as long as they were willing to slow it down!).
Even for the grammar that I didn't have time to learn; I was taught what I needed to know to continue teaching myself.
The school itself is wonderful, and being in Sevilla, makes it almost impossible to have a bad experience. The cultural programs are frequent, well planned, and excellent (fairly priced too). Javier (guía turístico/tour guide) is the man!
All the teachers are invested in the students learning. While I enjoyed some teaching styles more than others, I noticed how each style assisted different types of students. I would always suggest the second class (intensivo) if you can as those are purely conversational. Overall, I loved it, and had I not had a life to get back to, I would have stayed longer.

Spanish School Tarifa
Tarifa is a wonderful place to take Spanish classes. From the moment Mariola answered my email inquiry with photos, I knew I had a new community in Tarifa. The actual Spanish classes in Tarifa included some culture and history of Spain. This made language learning easier and added richness to the overall experience. I highly recommend learning Spanish in Tarifa and would go back in a heartbeat!
Mariah
Spanish School Tarifa
I had a great two weeks of Spanish lessons in Tarifa, Spain. I had been working on Spanish off and on for a few years and this really solidified my base of knowledge of Spanish grammar. It was very systematic and my Spanish skills dramatically progressed, much more than I had expected.

Spanish School Tenerife
This was the second time that I took Spanish lessons at this Spanish school in Tenerife. It was really pleasant and I had some good times there with the course and also the leisure activities proposed. I would go back there again to improve my Spanish skills.
Stephanie
Spanish School Tenerife
Small classes, interesting tutors, excellent mix of other students, interesting activities, nice café, great weather and I was encouraged to speak Spanish outside lessons. What more could you ask for?
Sarah
Spanish School Tenerife
I had an amazing experience at the Spanish School in Tenerife! The entire staff is super kind and I felt very welcomed.
My teacher (Juanjo) did an amazing job by presenting the contents in an entertaining but still organized way. Every class was a lot of fun, although we managed to get through heaps of different grammar topics! I wish I had such a teacher when I was in school.
The free time activities are diverse as well, so that no one needs to be afraid of boredom. I especially loved the dancing and volleyball events. The host family I got assigned to was super lovely, too. They took a lot of time to talk to me and I would say that I learned nearly as much Spanish in the family as in the school. It felt like part of the family! Thanks for the great time!

Spanish School Valencia
I am very grateful to have had this experience! The Spanish school in Valencia has a great atmosphere, competent teachers and staff and a wonderful host mother. There is no better way to improve your Spanish.

Spanish School Valencia
Amazing Spanish school in Valencia with great staff. Made learning Spanish fun and not a chore. The cultural programs were amazing as well. Getting to see parts of the city, which I would not have normally done on my own, was worth it.
This school is a must for anyone wanting to grow in their Spanish, at whatever level.

Spanish School Cordoba
The school is well located near the centre of Cordoba in a large building with good sized class rooms. I was met and introduced to the school by helpful staff and I had two Spanish teachers - both excellent. The teaching was high quality and the staff were very nice and clearly made an effort. I would certainly recommend this school - it is well run, professional and the staff are cheerful, enthusiastic and know what they are doing.
