The island Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. Every year millions of tourists come to this paradise to visit its spectacular beaches and lively nightlife.

Tenerife, also known as the Island of Eternal Spring, has a pleasant temperature all year round and has more than 300 days of sunshine per year. The island is very diverse, offering deserts, mountains, volcanoes, forests and beautiful coastlines. The north of the island tends to be a bit cooler, and here you will find the most amazing exotic fauna and flora. The south of the island is primarily hot and dry.

Volcan El Teide

The volcano of 3718 meters is Spain’s highest point and the highlight of Teide National Park. You can take a cable car up to the mountain. From here, the views are breathtaking! Note that the weather at the top can be a bit chilly, and beware of altitude sickness. With special permission, you can also hike up to the peak of the mountain.

Siam Park

This very popular theme park is located in the South of Tenerife. According to Tripadvisor, the park should be the best water park in the world. They have a 28m-high vertical water slide, an enormous wave pool and a sandy beach. The Thai architecture makes it even more beautiful.

Playa Del Duque

This lovely clean beach in Los Cristianos is probably one of the nicest beaches ever. The Golden Sandy beach is 600 meters long, and you can find shops, chic cafes and restaurants. You can rent a beach chair or just put on your towel; there is a lot of space.

Mercado de Nuestra Señora de Africa

This fish market is located in an eye-catching building in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Besides fish, you will find kiosks selling churros, colourful flowers, fresh fruit, local cheese and much more. You can even try the fresh fish and sea fruit directly at the market as most stalls have small eating areas.

Palmetum Santa Cruz Jardín Botanico

This 12 hectares botanical garden with views of the ocean has the most diverse collection of palm trees in Europe. You can see waterfalls, streams and ponds and even a museum dedicated to palms. Here You can also observe different species of wild birds.

ARTlandya Museum

This museum is located in Icod de Los Vinos, outside the zone of mass tourism and is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a lovely café. This museum has an impressive collection of dolls and teddy bears without being boring; the fascinating world created here will be interesting for everyone.
